Capias' issued for defendants Judge Carter Moore on Monday ordered the arrest of 22 defendants who did not show up in Cocke County Circuit Court for their scheduled hearing. Three defendants from North Carolina contacted the court to say they are under quarantine by their physician and cannot leave their homes. But at last report, the physician had not confirmed that report for the court. Eric Larue, Lakesha Williams and Willie Green, Jr., were arrested last July when officers found three young children in the transport area of the rental truck they were operating. The trio is charged with three counts each child neglect and violation of the child restraint law as well as traffic and drug violations. Others named on capiases are; Amy Nicole Allison, Amanda L. Ball, Eric Ballard, James Brown, Joseph Emanuel Childs, Eric D. Dalton, Donald Eugene Dover, Willie Ray Fox, Jody Bruce Gunter, Ricky Dean Haney, Charlie McMahan, Clifford Gardner Morse, Joshua Eric Norton, Justin Will Patterson, Gail L. Roberts, Douglas Shropshire, Franklin Ezra Shropshire, Henry Street, Kerry Strickland, Jacen Eugene Valentine, Christopher Williams.
