Early voting sets record
An early voting daily record for Cocke County was set on Wednesday, during early voting. Josh Blanchard, Cocke County Administrator of Elections says 1,024 voters voted early in-person. In addition, by the end of the day on Wednesday, 530 absentee ballots had been received, bringing to 1,554 the number of Cocke Countians who have voted. Day two of Early Voting opens late today, the polls will be open from 9 am through 6 pm at 137 Western Plaza Drive, in Newport
