Cruise Against Cancer
Cruise Against Cancer, a display of restored roadsters, returns to Newport City Park on Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm, rain or shine. Like COVID-19, Cancer has impacted far too many lives. But by being cautious, and watching out for one another, we each can still make a difference. Since 2009, Cruise Against Cancer has worked hard to help meet the needs of cancer patients in our area. With the help of the community and various car clubs, more than $250,000 has been raised for Celebrate Life Cancer Support Group. Organizer Nathan Manning says there are critical needs... including assistance with utility bills, purchase groceries, build handicap accessible ramps, and many other important needs are funded directly by Cruise Against Cancer. Donation checks may be mailed to: Cruise Against Cancer, PO Box 263, Newport, TN 37822
