Cocke County fires
Cocke County firefighters responded to two blazes last night. Firefighter Robert Cashen said an outbuilding on the Warford Road property of Donald Farley was reported on fire at 9:20 p.m. "He had been welding in the garage and had left. About 25 minutes later he saw his building on fire," Cashen said. The frame structure and contents were valued at a total of $50,000. At 1:25 a.m, Cocke County along with the Del Rio and Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Departments, responded to a double-wide mobile home fire on Green Hill Road. Firefighter Cashen said the occupant of the residence, Bobby Frazier, was not at home at the time of the blaze. Firemen who arrived on the scene found the home on the ground with only the frame remaining. The cause of the blaze is undetermined, with the loss initially estimated at $100,000. Firefighters were on the scene till 5:30 a.m.
