Burnout Operations on MillCreek wildfire today Burnout operations are being done on the Mill Creek wildfire today. The Public should be aware for the potential of smoke in that area Today, 4/27, fire crews are planning to conduct burnout operations within the perimeter of the fire to secure the containment lines on the northwestern side. The public should be aware of the potential for smoke in the area of the Mill Creek Wildfire near I-40. . Aircraft will be assisting with operations....the department of agriculture is also advising residents to not fly drones near the wildfire as that endangers the lives of firefighters and pilots. They remind you that if you fly....they can't.
