Jewelry missing from Walmart
Newport authorities are investigating the theft of $1,164 worth of jewelry from the Walmart store. Loss Prevention Officer Doug Justice told Newport Patrol Officer Josh Holt that a white male Wednesday night, took pendents, earrings, charms, necklaces, gold crosses and a gold accessory pack, and walked out the door. Officers have leads in identifying the suspect because they have surveillance video of the man leaving the store and the license number of the vehicle in which he fled.
