Greeneville mother arrested
The mother of two infants who died in December 2014 in Greeneville has been arrested and charged with murder. A man had earlier been charged in the deaths The mother, Kendra Tweed is charged with two counts of first degree murder, two counts of aggravated child endangerment and two counts of aggravated child neglect. The victims, two-month-old Trinity Jones and 13-month-old Kynsleigh Easterly were found unresponsive in their home. Both were taken to Takoma Hospital’s emergency room where they were pronounced dead. Erick Eugene Jones, Jr. father of the youngest child, was arrested a short time after the deaths on two counts of aggravated child abuse and neglect which resulted in the girls’ deaths. Officers say Jones committed the crimes which resulted in serious bodily injuries to the children. He was charged with murder.
