Cosby Beta Club
A shout out to the Cosby Junior Beta Club, ranked Second in the nation for it's 2015/16 Community Service. Cosby Administrative Assistant Glenda Henderson, says the club provided more than 4,000 hours toward community service projects. The projects included a Veteran's Day program, Letters to veterans at Christmas and Easter, sponsored Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter for needy families. The club also raised money for a number of projects including; assistance with medical and funeral expenses, $900 for the Diabetes Foundation, three $500 scholarships and $200 to Imagination Library. In two previous years the students placed fourth in the country in volunteered Community Service.
