Public indecency charges lodged
Newport police arrested two men on public indecency charges over the weekend. Edward Feldner, 75, Creekview Way, Newport, was jailed by Patrol Offcier Jordan Douglas on Sunday. A neighbor, William Patterson contacted authorities to say while he was grilling for his daughter's birthday party, Feldner was walking around his campsite in the nude. When officers arrived, Feldner was putting on his clothes, however he was jailed on indecent exposure charges. Eldon Coggins, 48, Lakeview Street, Newport was arrested early Sunday morning in a very intoxicated condition. Police found him in the nude, outside of his home, screaming at his wife, Vanessa Coggins. As a result the subject was jailed on charges of public indecency and disorderly conduct.
