Peanut butter sandwich melee James Kelly Moore, 27, Sorghum Way, Newport, has been charged with the assault of a fellow inmate in the Cocke County jail. Detective Bryan Murr said Rodney Hance was incarcerated wityh other inmates whien Morre struck him on the head following a confrontation over a peanut butter sandwich that was on Hance's tray. The incident allegedly occurred on September 30, and after Hance was released from the jail, he was treated at the Newport Medical Center for a hand fracture and head concussion.
