Early voting is underway
Early voter turnout for the November 8 election in Tennessee is underway, and turnout so far as been heavy. In the first six days of balloting, more than 703,000 residents have voted in the Volunteer State. Cocke County has seen 3,187 voters cast their ballots during early voting which ends November 3.Voting hours at the courthouse annex on Main Street in Newport, are 8:30 am till 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am till 6 pm on Friday ad on Saturday from 8:30 am till noon. On November 3, early voting will end at 6 pm.
