Hollifield arrest A woman arrested Tuesday morning after she allegedly assaulted her mother-in-law, gave law officers a false name. At the time of the incident, the subject identified herself as Rebecca Joanne Bunch, 42, South Highway 107, Del Rio to law officers. Deputy Daniel Smith said the suspect was outside on the ground, wearing no clothes and covered in blood. She was irate and refused to communicate with officers. She did say she had een drinking all day and had cut herself with a knife. She kicked deputies ad EMS personnel who responded. At the Newport Medical Center, the woman continued to scream and act out, the officer said. Later in the day, Deputy Wes Keys says he was contacted by jail employees who reported that the last name of Bunch was actually Hollifield. Hollifield now is charged with attempted suicide, assault, assault on a law officer, burglary, vandalism, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and indecent exposure.
