Items for Smokies victims Cocke County Mayor Crystal Ottinger has announced that items will be distributed at two Cocke County churches on December 10, to those affected by the Smokies wildfires. Clothes, food, cleaning supplies, household items and more will be provided to individuals who have lost their home or their job. The donations are planned for 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. at Eagleview Community Church, beside the Cosby School and at Trinity Baptist Church on Hartford Road. Mayor Ottinger said the donations are a concerted effort by a number of Cocke County churches, organizations and individuals.
