McGaha injured in moped crash
A Cocke County man is in stable condition today after he crashed his moped late Tuesday evening. Cocke Deputy Lt. Chris Gregg said Rocky McGaha, Jr., 29, Lindsey Gap Road, Cosby, was riding his moped on Groundhog Road at 10:14 p.m. when he lost control. After the crash, the injured McGaha rode the moped to his home, at time family members contacted authorities. First Call EMS transported the injured man to the Newport Medical Center and he later was flown to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville.
