Terry Fine arrest A Newport man who sustained serious injuries in May when he crashed a motorcycle which had been reported stole from Myrtle Beach, now has been taken into custody on those charges and additional offense. Terry Lynn Fine, 53, College Street, wrecked the cycle on East Highway 25/70, and was sent to the UT Medical Center for treatment. The Harley Davidson owned by a North Carolina man had been reported stolen earlier in May, and it bore an Indiana tag, belonging to another motorcycle which had been stolen at the same time from Myrtle Beach. Deputy Sgt. Bob Schaff said he went to a residence on Friendship Road following a tip that a wanted man was there. He found Fine hiding in the basement. The subject was taken into custody on charges of DUI, sixth offense driving on a revoked license, possession of a stolen motorcycle valued over $10,000, possession of a stolen tag, altering a vehicle registration, as well as possession of hydrocodone, oxycodone, alprazolam and marijuana, stemming from the May crash. But he also is expected to face additional charges stemming from the recovery of a stolen motorcycle at the time of the Sunday arrest. The 2012 Harley Davidson Switchback is owned by Curtis Tucker, El Dorodo, Kansas, and is the second bike reported stolen from Myrtle Beach. It bore an altered tag at the time of the recovery.
