Congratulations to Phi Theta Kappa inductees Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community college students, has inducted 63 new members at Walters State Community College. From Cocke County, Stacy Moore of Newport was honored. Jefferson County residents inducted are Ashlin Thomas of Dandridge; Lauren Eccles and Bryson Marshall of Jefferson City; John Pratt of New Market; Emily Dollar, Shelby Dollar, Sydney Edwards, Aaron Russell and Brianna Turner, all of White Pine. More than 10,000 students attend Walters State. The college has campuses in Morristown, Greeneville, Sevierville, and Tazewell, and offers more than 100 associate degrees and technical certificates.
