O'Brien tools are missing
Newport authorities are looking for a large custom built tool cart as well as two other toolboxes, valued at a total of $100,000. Thomas O'Brien of Parrottsville told Newport Patrol Officer Paul Weber that the property was taken from a leased site on East Highway 25/70. The owner said he was out of town when the items were taken. O'Brien said the tools, a collection of 40 years, are too heavy for a trailer and must be moved on a rollback. Officer Weber said there is a suspect in the theft.
