Jefferson drug bust
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says a recent undercover drug operation lead by Narcotics Detectives assigned to the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force has led to multiple arrests. Most of the offenders are from Cocke County and also face charges handed down by a Cocke County Grand Jury. Sheriff Jeff Coffey expressed his appreciation to the Drug Task Force, saying “We appreciate their hard work and dedication on removing drug dealers from the street.” Those recently arrested on Jefferson County charges are; Jacob Hoilman, 40, no address given, Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Methamphetamine), Sale & Delivery of Sch II in a drug-free zone. David Lowery,45, Fine Street, Newport, two counts Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Oxymorphone). Eric Ballard, 53, Jefferson Avenue, Newport, two counts Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Methamphetamine) 0.5 grams or more. Steven Walton, 39, no address given, Sale & Delivery of a counterfeit substance. Gina Yates, 53, Cottage Way, Parrottsville, Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Oxymorphone). Brandy James, 33, no address given, Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Methamphetamine) and Sale & Delivery of Sch Ii (Cocaine). Timmy Clevenger,59, no address given, Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Oxycodone). Samantha Lowery, 37, no address given, Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Oxycodone). Earl Banks,62, no address given, Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Oxycodone). David Moskalski, 47, no address given, Sale & Delivery of Sch II (Oxycodone).
