Mobile home destroyed by fire
Firefighters from the Cocke County Fire Department, joined by personnel with the Cosby and Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Departments, this morning responded to a mobile home fire on Mountain Bluebird Way, off Hartford Road, at 2:24 am. Lt. Justin Shelton of the county fire department said firefighters found flames coming from the front of the home and were able to extinguish the flames. Still, the $70,000 home was destroyed. Owned by Sandy Green, the residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and the cause of the blaze has not been determined.
