Nelson indictment
A Jefferson County Grand Jury has returned an indictemnt charging a Sevier County man with child sex offenses. David Ryan Nelson, 49, Golf Road, Pigeon Forge, is charged with two counts of rape of a child, soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual battery by an authority figure. The incidents allegedly occurred in 2014 and 2018 and involved a child under the age of 13. The incident was investigated by Det. Sgt. Amy Gentry of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
